This project-based unit is designed to enable learners to get started with DevOps methodology using Azure DevOps Services. The unit will be based on an Azure DevOps platform initiative which will provide speed and agility to manage projects, collaborate, develop software, test, and deploy. Working in teams of 4-5, learners will assess the status quo and the problem, perform first-hand research on Azure DevOps Services and the features available, set up and configure an Azure DevOps services environment for projects and migrate existing projects into the platform. The team will collaborate and run a sprint session using the Azure DevOps project management and collaboration functionality.

The learning from the project can be applied in job roles that focus on project management, software development, QA and testing, and product management and ownership. Some of the roles that will benefit from involvement in this project-based unit are:

• DevOps Analyst

• Project Manager

• Product Manager/Owner

• Scrum Master

• QA Engineer

• Software Developer
