This unit introduces students to the theory and practice of quantitative and mixed methods research, with a focus on their application in the health sciences. Students will develop a strong foundation in core quantitative methods and techniques, including descriptive and inferential statistics. Through exploration of quantitative and mixed methods approaches, students will learn to identify appropriate research designs and apply statistical principles to real-world research contexts.
