<p>The unit is dedicated to the process of producing a literature review of the student`s chosen research area for their honours program. The purpose of the literature review is to provide the background information needed to understand the chosen honours research project. Through the review, students will assure their assessors that they are familiar with the important research and literature in their field. It is expected that the review will demonstrate comprehensive coverage of the appropriate literature, and will provide some degree of critical appraisal. It should be presented in a clear, coherent and logical structure, and should provide appropriate context for the literature and theories that are reviewed.
