The sport industry is moving faster than ever, driven by digital innovation, global market growth, and new commercial opportunities. Our Bachelor of Sport Management is designed to move at that same pace, with a focus on the high-impact skills that modern sport organisations actually need. Whether you want to manage professional athletes, run world-class facilities, or lead marketing campaigns for global sporting brands, this degree provides the blueprint to get you there.

We treat your education like a high-performance training camp. You’ll dive into core business pillars, including finance, HR, digital marketing, and governance, but specifically tailored for the sports business environment. You’ll learn how to analyse data, navigate complex policies, and lead teams through the shifting demands of the industry. It’s about building the analytical and creative mindset required to turn industry challenges into winning strategies.

We believe the best way to learn the game is to be on the field. That’s why our curriculum is packed with industry-connected projects, guest lectures from current pros, and real-world case studies. You won’t just be sitting in a lecture hall; you’ll be building a professional network from day one. By the time you graduate, you’ll have the practical experience, the communication skills, and the industry connections to land roles in everything from community sport clubs to major international sporting enterprises.

When you join this program, you’re choosing a pathway that prioritises your career readiness. If you're starting via our Diploma of Business and Sports Management, you’ll kick things off at the Melbourne City FC headquarters for a truly immersive experience, before transitioning to our Berwick university campus. By your final year, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running with intensive co-operative placements that bridge the gap between student and professional.
